It's official, our coverdisk has more of a reason to exist than simply being a great collection of PD games and utilities and commercial demos. I am now pleased to announce that we have Hit Mouse 2, which was kind of like RedPill for MusicDisks and DiskMags, as well as RedPiill itself, and ADOM 020 on the accompanying HDF file, anyway I won't say much as there is not much I can confirm. Just enjoy Hit Mouse 2.04 beta.

Current Review Format Draft LayoutCurrent Review Format Draft LayoutI think I don't need to say anymore until our scheduled announcement in a couple of days, as Kyot^R3D's images speak for themselves. Indeed without the help of R3D then this issue would not have been possible to bring in on time and under budget at a quality suitable for a proper magazine, and as such we will be featuring both their current budget, console-style, commercial Amiga indie games in our prime advertising space on the inside cover spread.

Indeed you may already notice that Tanks Furry is our main featured product. For this issue it's an Amiga game, but we will usually devote this to a SteamOS game, we will make an exception in some cases and also cover cheap indie games for platforms like MSX, NES, C64, etc. in addition to the Amiga :)

Our Mission: To review every game available for SteamOS!

The Power Wants You!The Power Wants You!

The Power Need's You!

As you can see from this articles headline we have quite a task ahead of us, there are currently 3 permanent writing staff members, but for this objective to be even remotely possible we will be needing at least that many contributors again. We are accepting writers from Australia and general contributors from around the globe to cover SteamOS games.

  •   The Power Magazine ( Australia : ) is currently seeking writers to work part time reviewing games. We are currently a volunteer operation and you can expect to be writing 2-4 reviews in addition to other miscellaneous duties that come from working on a magazine.
  •   So if you have 10-40 hours per week to spare towards playing games and then writing a detailed, objective but personal evaluation of at least 2 games a fortnight you can expect to get as many free SteamOS compatible games as you can review, as well as the possibility of other review material for senior writers.

Draft Review Layout

Posted 30/3/2017

Magazine Progress Update.

As you can see from the image attached to this post our esteemed Art Editor has proven that his design skill is of a professional standard with this draft layout for a review which will be featured in issue zero.

We hope will be indicative of the general quality of the actual magazine. And that is why Krzysztof ( similar to "Chris" in Polish I'm led to believe - Ed: ) is currently the only member of staff in reciept of an actual paycheck, as a real magazine design is one area we will not overlook.

Although we may be mainly available as digital download we will also be a real physical paper + usb SteamOS games magazine. And Cover Media content and preparation is another area where we are willing to allocate some funds so expect good things there too.
